What is distributor shipping?
In our effort to find products of the best quality, we have made arrangements for those items to be shipped directly to you to cut down costs. Using this method of retailing, we are able to keep our costs down by eliminating the the additional shipping costs of sending from distributor to retailer and the accompaning storage costs. Because of this distributing method, each of our distributors may use a different shipping method and the time of delivery will vary. Please see "How fast will I get my order?" below for further information on expected delivery.
Why do you charge shipping?
Shipping cost money. If we offered free shipping on all orders our prices would be inflated to cover the cost of shipping. We want to give you the benefit of calculating the actual cost of your order rather than using an average which might be more or less than your actual shipping costs.
How fast will I get my order?
Most orders ship out within two to four business days. Average shipping time is 7-10 days. If you do not receive your order within 10 days, please contact us immediately.
Items that have a SKU# beginning in WH also have a shipping time of 2-4 weeks because each item is individually made for you, including items that are personalized with lettering or numbering.
What is your Return Policy for broken or defective items?
If an item reaches you in less than satisfactory condition, please contact us immediately and we will determine
whether a credit or replacement is in order. You must contact Cornerstone Yard and Garden within 10
days of receipt of merchandise so that we can process your claim in a timely manner with our distributor. Keep the
original carton and damaged merchandise until the claim is resolved.
What is your Return Policy for non-broken, non-defective items?
Returns for non-defective, non-broken items must be made within 10 days of the receipt of the items. There will be a 25% restocking fee on all non-defective, non-broken items. Please note that the original shipping charges will not be refunded on non-defective/non-broken returns. Please contact us for a return authorization as returns will not be accepted without this RA number. Please be prompt in sending your items back to our distributor because we cannot issue a credit on your credit card until our distributor receives your returned items.
Merchandise must be returned in its original inner and outer packing and must be in resalable condition. The merchandise, merchandise outer packaging, and the inner packing must bear no unnecessary markings or be otherwise defaced or damaged. No credit will be given for items that do not meet these requirements.Returns will not be accepted after 10 days due to the fact that we have to process your return with our distributor.
If a customer refuses delivery of an item, and the order cannot be delivered, the 25% restocking fee will automatically apply and shipping charges will not be refunded.
What methods of Payment do you accept?
We accept MasterCard, Visa and PayPal. All payments should be made in U.S. dollars.
What is your shipping policy?
Due to the restrictions placed on us by our distributors, we only ship to the USA (including Alaska and Hawaii)
and Puerto Rico. We do not ship to PO Boxes.
How are my items shipped?
Depending on the distribution location shipment is by UPS Ground or by Fed-Ex Ground and is only for the continental U.S. (Does NOT include Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico). Please note that all products with a sku# beginning with TD will be shipped FedEx Ground. All other orders are shipped UPS Ground.
How much does shipping cost?
UPS and Fed-Ex Ground Shipping: Continental U.S. excluding PO Boxes. Shipping is calculated on the weight of the shipment. Some orders will include shipments from different distrubutors and, therefore, will have a shipping fee for each shipment.
What are handling fees?
Some orders will include a handling fee. These are figured on a per order basis and are the fees for processing a shipment passed on from different distrubutors.
Why do I have multiple shipping fees?
Some orders will have multiple shipping fees because the items in the order come from different distributors. The shipping is shown per distributor to best calculate your shipping from each warehouse.
Do you ship to PO Boxes?
Due to the risk of credit card fraud associated with orders placed by individuals with PO Boxes, currently we
are not accepting orders from individuals who reside at PO Box addresses.
